Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Danielle's Pet Care. These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Danielle's Pet Care and our clients. By booking our services, you agree to the following terms.
1. Bookings
Bookings are confirmed once availability has been agreed and all required client information has been completed.
A free meet and greet may be required before the first booking to ensure Danielle's Pet Care can meet your pet's individual needs.
2. Payment
Payment is due before the first visit unless otherwise agreed.
Payments can be made via bank transfer or another agreed payment method.
Any additional services requested during a booking may incur an additional charge.
3. Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking, please provide as much notice as possible.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the booking may be refunded or transferred to a future booking.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking may be charged in full.
If Danielle's Pet Care needs to cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, every effort will be made to provide as much notice as possible and arrange a suitable alternative where available.
4. Veterinary Care
If your pet becomes ill or injured while in our care, Danielle's Pet Care will make every reasonable effort to contact you.
If you cannot be reached and emergency veterinary treatment is required, your nominated veterinary practice (or the nearest available veterinary practice if necessary) may be contacted.
Any veterinary costs remain the responsibility of the pet owner.
5. Pet Behaviour
Clients must provide honest and accurate information regarding their pet's health, behaviour and temperament.
Danielle's Pet Care reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if a pet displays behaviour that poses a risk to people or other animals.
6. Medication
Medication will only be administered with the owner's written consent and clear instructions.
Whilst every care is taken, Danielle's Pet Care cannot accept responsibility for complications resulting from underlying medical conditions or incorrect information provided by the owner.
7. Keys & Home Access
Where house keys are provided:
Keys will be kept securely.
Keys will never be labelled with your address.
Keys will be returned promptly at the end of the booking unless otherwise agreed.
Clients are responsible for ensuring Danielle's Pet Care has safe access to the property.
8. Security
During visits, Danielle's Pet Care will make every reasonable effort to ensure your property is left secure.
This includes locking doors, securing windows where appropriate and following any security instructions provided by the owner.
9. Photographs & Social Media
Photographs and videos may be taken during visits to provide updates.
No photographs will be shared publicly without the owner's prior consent.
10. Weather
Dog walks may be shortened, altered or replaced with enrichment activities if weather conditions are considered unsafe due to extreme heat, ice, storms or other adverse conditions.
Your pet's welfare will always take priority.
11. Vaccinations
Owners are responsible for ensuring their pets are appropriately vaccinated where applicable.
Dogs should also receive appropriate flea, tick and worm prevention.
12. Liability
Danielle's Pet Care is fully insured.
Whilst every reasonable care will be taken, Danielle's Pet Care cannot be held responsible for illness, injury, escape or death resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control or from inaccurate information provided by the owner.
13. Privacy
Personal information is collected only for the purpose of providing pet care services and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to These Terms
Danielle's Pet Care reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The latest version will always be available on request and, where applicable, on the Danielle's Pet Care website.
